Terms of Sale
Last updated: 17 August 2026
These terms govern your use of newcampingnow.shop and any order you place with us. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you accept these terms.
1. Who you are buying from

We have no establishment, branch or agent inside the European Union. We sell to EU consumers at a distance from Australia, and our supply partners dispatch goods from Asia.
2. Prices, taxes and currency
Read this before you order. Your goods are shipped into the EU from outside the EU. The price you see on this site does not include EU import VAT or the EU customs duty. Those are collected from you by the carrier before delivery, together with the carrier's own clearance fee. Section 4 of Shipping & Delivery explains exactly what to expect and roughly how much it comes to. We would rather tell you here than have you find out at the door.
- All prices are shown in euro (EUR);
- Shipping is added at checkout: €4.95, or free on orders over €79;
- Import VAT at the rate of your own country, plus the €3 flat EU customs duty per item that applies to consignments up to €150 since 1 July 2026, plus the carrier's clearance fee, are payable by you on delivery. Orders above €150 attract standard ad valorem customs duty instead of the flat €3;
- We are not registered for Australian GST, so no Australian GST is charged and we do not issue Australian tax invoices. Australian GST status has no bearing on EU import VAT, which is due regardless;
- We do not display crossed-out “was” prices, recommended retail prices or supplier prices. If we ever announce a reduction, the reference price will be the lowest price we ourselves applied to that product in the previous 30 days, as required by Article 6a of Directive 98/6/EC as inserted by Directive (EU) 2019/2161. We also run no countdown timers and no artificial stock counters.
3. How a contract is formed
- You place an order. Your order is an offer to buy;
- We send you an acknowledgement that we have received it. This is not yet acceptance;
- The contract is formed when we send you a confirmation of dispatch. If we cannot supply an item, we tell you and refund anything you have paid for it in full.
Before you are bound, we give you the information required by Article 6 of Directive 2011/83/EU: the main characteristics of the goods, our identity and address, the total price including taxes and delivery costs, the arrangements for payment and delivery, the conditions and time limit for withdrawal, the model withdrawal form, and the existence of the legal guarantee of conformity.
4. Stock and product information
We describe every item with the specifications given to us by the manufacturer and we do not embellish them. Photographs are illustrative: colours can vary slightly between screens and production batches. If an item arrives materially different from its description, that is a lack of conformity and section 6 applies.
Some items carry shipping restrictions. Gas canisters, fuel and lithium batteries above certain capacities cannot be sent by air and are not sold on this site unless the product page says otherwise.
5. Your right to withdraw — 14 days
If you are a consumer in the EU you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The full procedure, the deadline, who pays return postage and the model withdrawal form are in Returns & Refunds, which forms part of these terms.
6. Legal guarantee of conformity — 2 years
Goods must be as described, fit for their purpose and of the quality you can reasonably expect. Under Directive (EU) 2019/771 you have a two-year legal guarantee from delivery. This is free, it is your legal right, and it exists whether or not any commercial warranty is offered. See Returns & Refunds for how to use it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any statutory right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.
7. Delivery and risk
We deliver to the address you give us. Estimated transit times are in Shipping & Delivery; they are estimates, not guarantees.
Risk stays with us until the goods are physically delivered to you or to a person you nominate. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, that is our problem to solve, not yours.
If we fail to deliver within the agreed time, or within 30 days if no time was agreed, you may ask us to deliver within an additional reasonable period. If we still fail, you may cancel and receive a full refund without delay (Article 18, Directive 2011/83/EU).
8. Payment
Payment is handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number. We will never ask you for your card details or password by email or message. We do not take payment into a personal bank account — if anyone asks you to do that in our name, it is fraud; please tell us.
9. Using this site
- Do not attempt to breach or circumvent the security of the site;
- Do not use the site for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes anyone's rights;
- Do not carry out abusive automated scraping or overload the servers;
- Give us accurate information when you order.
The New Camping Now name, the logo, the site design and our own product text and photography belong to us or are used under licence. Manufacturer specifications remain the property of their owners.
10. Our responsibility
We are responsible for supplying goods that conform to the contract and for the proper performance of what we have promised. We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We are not responsible for matters outside our control, such as your internet connection, or for third-party sites we link to — which does not affect our responsibility for the goods themselves.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect legal or operational changes. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The current version is always on this page, dated at the top.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia. However, if you are a consumer habitually resident in an EU Member State, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence (Article 6, Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 “Rome I”, and Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 “Brussels I recast”).
Please contact us first at contact@newcampingnow.shop — almost everything is faster to fix directly. If we cannot resolve it, you can approach a consumer dispute body in your country or the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) for your Member State, which advises consumers on cross-border purchases. Note: the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.
13. Contact
