Shipping & Delivery
Last updated: 17 August 2026
1. Where we ship
We ship to all European Union member states, and to Australia. If your country is not offered at checkout, email us and we will tell you whether we can arrange it.
2. Cost
- €4.95 flat rate on orders under €79;
- Free on orders of €79 or more;
- The exact amount is shown in your basket before you pay. Nothing is added afterwards.
3. Dispatch and transit times
Orders are picked up by our supply partners within 1–3 business days. Typical transit to EU addresses is then 9–18 business days with tracking.
These are honest estimates based on the route, not promises. Customs inspections and peak periods add time. If we are running late we tell you rather than letting you wonder.
If delivery is late: you may give us an additional reasonable period. If we miss that too, you may cancel and get a full refund without undue delay (Article 18, Directive 2011/83/EU). If the delivery date was essential and you told us so, you may cancel immediately.
4. Import VAT and customs — read this before you order
The price on the product page is for the goods only. Your order is imported into the EU from outside the EU, so import VAT and an EU customs duty are due on top, and they are collected from you by the carrier before delivery.
We are telling you this plainly and before you order because the law requires it, and because a surprise at the door is the fastest way to lose a customer.
What you will be asked to pay
- Import VAT at the standard rate of your own country — it ranges from 17% to 27% across the EU. It is charged on the value of the goods plus the shipping you paid;
- €3 flat EU customs duty per item. Since 1 July 2026 the EU no longer exempts consignments worth up to €150 from customs duty; a flat €3 per item applies instead. This replaced the old €150 duty relief;
- The carrier's clearance or handling fee, typically €2–€15 depending on the country and operator. This is charged by the carrier, not by us, and we do not receive any part of it.
Orders above €150 in goods value are treated differently: standard ad valorem customs duty applies instead of the flat €3, at a rate depending on the product's commodity code and country of origin, alongside import VAT.
Why we do not collect it at checkout
The EU scheme that lets a seller charge import VAT at checkout is the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS). A seller established outside the EU cannot join it alone — it requires appointing an intermediary established in the EU. We are not currently registered for IOSS, so VAT is collected on delivery under the standard route. We will say so here, and change this page, on the day that changes.
We do not display an IOSS number we do not hold, and we never use somebody else's.
What we will not do
We do not under-declare the value of parcels and we do not mark shipments as “gift” or “sample”. That is customs fraud, it is committed in your country rather than ours, and it is you who carries the consequence. Please do not ask.
We also do not split an order artificially across several parcels to sit under a threshold.
5. Tracking
You get a tracking number by email as soon as the parcel is scanned. International tracking can go quiet for several days while a parcel is between hubs — that is normal and does not mean it is lost. If there is no movement for 10 days, tell us and we will chase it.
6. Wrong address, refused parcels, and returns to sender
- Check your address carefully at checkout. We can usually still correct it in the first 24 hours;
- If a parcel comes back because the address was wrong or nobody collected it, we refund the goods and deduct the actual return carriage we were charged;
- If a parcel is refused specifically because of an import VAT or duty charge that we failed to warn you about, we refund in full, carriage included.
7. Split deliveries
Orders with several items may arrive in separate parcels at different times, at no extra cost to you. Where that happens, your 14-day withdrawal period runs from the day the last item arrives.
8. Restricted items
Pressurised gas canisters, liquid fuel and high-capacity lithium batteries cannot travel by air and are not shipped internationally. Where a product needs a fuel canister, it is stated on the product page and the canister is not included.
